Jana Neumann is a painter whose practice explores the intersection of inner transformation and the multiplicity of the feminine. The shifting of inner and outer worlds in relationship to self and other.

Rooted through direct experience, her practice is shaped by moments where identity loosens and something more essential begins to surface.

Working with figuration and abstraction, she allows bodies, textures and forms to be guided by feelings and sensation, not connected to a fixed narrative. Her paintings exist in the space between body and landscape, between what is seen and what is felt.

Often working on a large scale, she uses layered pigments, sand and raw surfaces to create paintings that are experienced as much through the body as through the eye.

At the center of her work is a deep connection to the feminine. Themes of unity, inner revolution and true embodied power run through her practice, creating pieces that feel personal yet collective.
